1. Mucosal scrapings from the colons of Hmgb1 fl/fl and Vil-Cre Hmgb1 fl/fl mice were homogenized in cell lysis buffer (Cell Signaling Technology), centrifuged at top speed for 15 minutes, and then supernatants were collected and assayed for protein concentrations using the Bichronic acid method
